Pedro of Osma Gildemeister |
He was born on the 4th of May of 1901 and passed away the 18th of September of 1967. He studied at Recoleta School and, later, got his degree as a lawyer at the University of San Marcos.
Without a doubt, his great vocation was the arts; he dedicated his whole life to them. In his house, without giving it the sense of a museum, he showed the important pieces of art that he acquired.

Pedro de Osma used to walk around his house with friend, stop before important works and explain their history through anecdotes.
His house was a meeting point where the high dignitaries and important characters met when they were in Peru. Numerous governments granted him high merit awards.
